Lately, I feeled the duty to write this post to shed some light on Copywriting, its meaning, and its role in the web and marketing.

According to my not so clear vision, content creators of the web are divided into two main categories: the first category includes users who write for second purposes, and the second ones who write for second purposes and because they like to write.

If you are part of this second category you will have remarkable benefits:

  • You will surely have an elegant writing style over the average
  • Probably, you will be more influential on your visitors

What is Copywriting?

Copywriting is one of the main elements of web-marketing. It represents the art and science of persuasive writing: through copywriting we communicate to the consumer with the intention of making a certain action.

As reported by copyblogger, copywriters are some of the most paid writers in the world, but to become a professional figure of this type you have to invest time and energy in the study of the job.

Write titles or headers

Although a user is on a blog, an ecommerce website, or a sales landing page, he will take a few seconds to make a decision about the quality of the content and this will be based on a quick look at the top of the page.

The same applies to advertisements that we often find ourselves having to write in one line of ads services such as google adwords or facebook ads.

So it becomes evident today’s importance of competencies to write synthetic and persuasive texts – and therefore, the role of the copywriter.

Copywriters increasingly play a vital role in writing pages and content that must be attractive to human visitors and easy indexing for Search Engines through the use of correct keywords.
